The production of RHD Dyanes ceased in October 1982. The final 238 cars that rolled off the production line were completed in a special colour scheme and branded Côte d’Azur. Finished in Blanc Alaska (AC077), the only differences from the standard Dyane were cosmetic.
Interior
-
The seats were the same blue seen in white 2CVs of the same time.
Exterior
-
Blue roof.
-
On the body, two thin blue pinstripes (of a slightly different shade) running along the side panels beneath the bonnet, under the chrome strips on the doors and continuing around the hatchback where they became much wider.
-
On the boot, the upper strip was wider than the lower and had “Côte d’Azur” in a flowing font (in white) on the driver’s side.
-
Unlike the Caban, the wheels were the standard grey featured on all other Dyanes.
Despite such a short production run (the shortest of all Citroën’s special editions), Citroën produced a brochure for the Côte d’Azur. However, if featured drawings rather than photos of real cars.
